Controlled Rain is recognized for its continuous efforts to improve the environment and the quality of living throughout the Puget Sound area. Since 1993 Controlled Rain has installed countless landscapes and irrigation systems for its commercial and residential customers. With 50 plus years of combined staff experience, Controlled Rain constantly raises the standards for other landscape contractors to follow.

In 2000, Governor Gary Locke commended the company for its hard work and persistence in ensuring the Governor's Mansion was successfully completed on time. Recently, Controlled Rain was awarded the Deschutes Parkway project at Olympia's Capital Lake. Projects completed near this Parkway include the tree-lined Heritage Park promenade and the interactive Heritage Park Fountain. The Deschutes Parkway, Heritage Park, Governor's Mansion, and Capitol Legislative Building projects all compliment one another connecting the Olympia Waterfront to the Capitol grounds. Controlled Rain is excited and honored to have been a part of the State Capitol's beautification and environmental enhancements.
